Contexte

Applications are now open for the First Bank Nigeria Technology Academy Graduate Trainee Program. The programme is targeted at young graduates with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) backgrounds who are interested in building careers in technology within FirstBank. The FirstBank Technology Academy is a talent-development initiative established to build a pipeline of technology professionals capable of supporting the Bank’s digital transformation agenda. FirstBank has previously described the Academy as a strategic initiative designed to attract and continuously develop technology talent to meet its growing IT staffing requirements. The 2026 programme provides young STEM graduates with an opportunity to develop practical technology skills and gain exposure to technology functions within the Bank.

Missions et responsabilités

• Develop practical technology skills
• Gain exposure to technology functions within the Bank
• Participate in areas of exposure including Software Engineering, Application Support & Development, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Services, and Data Science & Analytics

Profil recherché

• Graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related disciplines
• Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) or its equivalent
• Completed NYSC or possess a valid Exemption Certificate
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning
