Assistant Projet ESC – Youth4All (Bénévolat)

Contexte

Our volunteering program is funded by the European Commission through the European Solidarity Corps program. At the Open Cultural Center, we are committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of our work. As part of this commitment, we strongly encourage people with a migrant background to apply to our volunteering positions.

Missions et responsabilités

• Support the educational team in the organisation of the weekly classes and volunteering activities;
• Teaching language (Spanish, Catalan) and computer classes;
• Create educational materials;
• Support the coordinator and social educator in establishing personal development plans for the young people;
• Support the coordinator and the social educator in the establishment of rules and structures of coexistence;
• Accompany young people to administrative and/or medical appointments;
• Support the expansion of the local network by presenting the project at public events, contacting local actors, etc;
• Support in the administrative tasks of the project;
• Support in the creation of communication content;
• Support the rest of the team and actively participate in the activities of the Organisation;

Profil recherché

• Good level of Spanish, Catalan and English are a plus;
• Commitment to the mission of the project;
• Autonomy and proactivity;
• Teaching experience would be an asset;
• Training in social work, social education, social integration a plus;
• Good written communication skills;
• Experience organising activities is a plus;
• Experience and/or interest working/volunteering with migrant people is a plus;
• Ability to empathise, assertiveness and conflict management would be asset;

Conditions et avantages

• Travel costs coverage: Up to the limits established in the Erasmus+ Guide the distance calculator from the volunteer’s region of residency to our center and back;
• Free Accommodation: Provided in Moianès. The accommodation is fully equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, etc.);
• Monthly allowance: 330 euros per month;
• Insurance: Henner;
• Free Language courses: Online;

Dossier de candidature

• Being between 18 -30 years old;
• Being an EU resident + Partner countries (Neighbouring the EU);
• Being available for 12 months;
• No Prior ESC Participation;
